Trio Joubran at La Halle aux Grains, Toulouse

Brothers Samir, Wissam, and Adnan Joubran have spent two decades reimagining the Palestinian oud for the world stage. Born into a rich musical dynasty, the virtuoso trio combines deep Oriental traditions with daring improvisation. Their global reach includes major collaborations, from co-creating music with Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters to featuring on Coldplay’s hit track "Arabesque". Filmed live at La Halle aux Grains in Toulouse, France, 20 Printemps celebrates their 20-year artistic journey. Backed by a string quartet and two percussionists, the ensemble pairs intricate oud lines with rich violins and cello. Visual projections of poetry by Mahmoud Darwich add extra depth, completing a concert that honors Levantine heritage while creating a powerful universal experience.
