The celebrated British group Incognito brings their signature blend of acid jazz, soul, and pop melodies to the spectacular ancient Roman theater at the Jazz à Vienne festival. Originally launched at the crossroads of the eighties and nineties out of the vibrant London club scene, the ensemble demonstrates decades of seasoned performance experience with a meticulously arranged, high-energy live set. Backed by an absolutely flawless, driving brass section, the group commands the stage from the first note, weaving sophisticated funk rhythms with infectious pop hooks. The performance reaches stunning vocal heights through a track built on a French refrain and a powerful, soul-stirring feature by vocalist Nathalie Duncan. Offering a smooth, premium alternative to traditional seventies fusion, Incognito delivers an exceptional sequence of music where sophisticated harmonies and audacious vocals keep the audience dancing into the night.
