"The legendary career of Salif Keita is rooted in a lifelong struggle for acceptance and human dignity. Cast out of his village at a young age because of his albinism, the world-renowned musician has spent his life fighting for the right to be different through his global activism, philanthropy, and groundbreaking artistry. Filmed live at the spectacular Theatre Antique during the opening night of the Jazz à Vienne festival, this exclusive performance captures a rare and monumental appearance by one of the true titans of African music. Affectionately known as the Nightingale of Mali, the icon takes the stage following the release of Un Autre Blanc, an album he described as his final studio statement. Though his live appearances remain exceptionally rare on the international festival circuit, Keita brings an undeniable, towering presence to the ancient Roman amphitheater. Backed by a brilliant, high-energy ensemble, his soaring vocals transform the night into an inspiring celebration of survival, pride, and five decades of musical revolution."
